I integrate a variety of therapy techniques including: Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Narrative Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to achieve healing, growth, improved communication and connection in your relationships.

Whom I Work With: I work with kids starting at 10 years old and up. I enjoy working with tweens and teenagers and making the therapy experience fun and relaxed by playing games and doing different interactive projects.

Couples Counseling: By working with each other on improved communication as well as strengthening the bond between you and your partner, you will have increased relationship satisfaction. My thoughts are that if you feel like you’re having the same fights over and over again and not feeling that anything is getting resolved, it might be time to talk to a therapist. Its not uncommon that one partner will be hesitant or resistant to therapy but please don’t let this stop you! This is something that can be worked through!

Family Therapy: It’s not uncommon that relationships within a family system are effected by events/things that happen both within the family and outside the family. My belief is to work on relationships, problem solving skills and learn different techniques within the family to help them work through current and future situations.

Individual Therapy: Sometimes things happen in life where you feel you may need to talk to someone and I’m here to help. I have a nurturing and empathetic approach but also realize there are times where I need to be direct to help challenge current ways of thinking. I also include humor, when appropriate, to help make it a more comfortable and relaxed meeting.

Payment: My sessions cost from $70-$100 depending on the service being provided. I believe that therapy should be accessible for everyone so if cost is a concern, please call and discuss this with me. I also self-pay and do utilize a sliding scale. I am currently working to be enrolled in other insurance networks.
